Next he and the neocon war lobby are likely to spin that the release of Wikileaks makes a strike on Iran even more unavoidable than before. Look for George Will, William Kristol, John McCain, John Kyl, Lindsey Graham, et al, to pick up that theme.
If we had had less useless secrecy to begin with, we would be in a far better position today to maintain some kind of moral high ground. The bad guy here is not the guy who caused the truth to be told but the guys who tried to hide the truth and then to hide behind a shield of lies and official privilege.
